Trash The Dress Holi Festival_006

It felt like Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny had all paid me a visit at once – the day I received Katie’s submission to my Rock n’ Roll Bride competition. She said “I’d love my Trash The Dress to be exactly that and I want to have lots of colourful paint thrown at me, the more the merrier! I’m not intending to stuff my dress in a box and keep it for years I want it to go out with a bang!!”

Penshurst Place is a medieval magnificence. With it’s impressive banqueting hall and breath taking gardens, it’s history creates expectations of grandeur and opulence that could easily set the scene for a very grown up and formal occasion.

However, this was the day of Kat and Seb’s wedding, who are the most fun loving couple you could ever hope to meet. And what better way to start their special day than with the funniest, most creative, genius announcement that I’ve ever heard at a wedding.
