Hayley and Steve were married in the same church as Hayley’s grandparents did some 57 years ago in the small village of Linton, Kent. Their two daughters, Brooke and Aimee, lead the way for Hayley as she walked down the isle, as both families looked on with smiles that beamed with pride. The proudest of all being Hayley’s father, my step dad.
The service was full of emotion, spurred on by my mum reading Captain Corelli’s Madolin “Love Quote”, which just happens to be my favorite reading. Steve was surprisingly the most emotional of all, often struggling to hold back his tears as he shared his vows with Hayley and they promised to love and cherish each other with all their hearts.

Ruth is a musician from New Zealand who lives with her husband Kane in London and plays in their band Death In Texas.
