Go BackJessica & Mark’s Wedding: A Nice Day For A Pink Wedding
Mrs Toube, their six form teacher, always said Jessica & Mark would make the prefect couple. Even when they where 16 years old and used to sit together in their English class. It wasn’t until they left school and six years had passed, that they realised they were always meant to be together, just like Mrs Toube had said!
Ever since they were little girls, Jessica and her twin sister Kathleen have dressed in pink and yellow. These colours have become part of their identity, therefore it seemed only right that on her wedding day Jessica wore pink and Kathleen, her bridesmaid, wore yellow.

Jessica & Mark were married at Islington Town Hall and then traveled with their guests to their reception venue, at Browns Old Jewry in Bank, on an old classic London Routemaster.

We found a cool and shady side street on this hot and bright day to capture and illustrate what Mark said to Jessica in his speech which was quite simply: “You are my best friend and I love you”.

I think Jessica and Kathleen are possibly the most beautiful bride and bridesmaids ever! A big thank you to Bethany Swan for doing such a fabulous job of their hair and make – up.

Kathleen, also just happens to be my BFF and the very talented retoucher who worked her magic on the portraits above. It meant so much for me to be there on Jessica and Mark’s wedding day. Not only as their photographer but also as a friend and extended family member. Much love to the Smerdon’s!
